Open For All Levels (Competition Obedience Class)

Class Begins on April 16, 2012 and Ends on June 11, 2012

This Class Meets on Monday for 8 weeks (See Comments for Exceptions)

Class Starts at: 7:40 PM and ends at 8:40 PM

Maximum Number of Students for this Class: 8

Prerequisites:

Dogs should know all of the AKC Novice exercises.

Description:

This is a competition obedience class. This class is for dogs at any level of open training, those just starting who want to learn the AKC Open exercises such as teaching the dog the dumbbell skills of take, hold, and carry, and teaching the high jump, broad jump, drop on recall and out of sight stays. This class is also for dogs getting ready to show in Open as well as those currently showing. This class will help perfect the Open exercises as well as focus on polishing and proofing. Rules will be discussed as well as strategy for competing. Run-throughs will be conducted. Limited to 8 dogs.

Notes:

All class registration fees must be paid prior to attendance of the first session of class. Unpaid registrations will result in the registree losing their place in class and if there is a waiting list for that class the next person on the waiting list will be awarded the seat.

Bayshore Companion Dog Club reserves the right to cancel any classes that do not meet minimum attendance requirements.
