How to become a BCDC Member:

To become a member of Bayshore Companion Dog Club, you need to have taken three consecutive classes with BCDC. After you have paid for your third class you should contact the membership committee and inquire about your eligibility.

If at that time you elect to become a prospective member you will need to attend three general membership meetings within a six month period of time. During those three meetings you will be introduced to the members in attendance at those meetings and asked to stand and be recognized.

During the six months you are considered a prospective member, you are required to work a minimum of one BCDC event, such as a Obedience or Agility trial or match. Also you will need the endorsement of two BCDC members in good standing for your application.

Once you have met all the requirements of membership you will be voted upon. An affirmative vote by a 2/3rds majority of the membership will result in your being elected to full membership status, along with a completed application and your first year's dues.

Benefits

Members in good standing with BCDC not only get to enjoy the commaraderie of like minded dog enthusiasts, they also recieve discounts on classes that they may take in the future.

BCDC also has several social events through the year that are open to members only such as our annual Howloween party, Holiday party, awards dinner and annual membership picnic.
